The Miracle of Maria

Hello Everyone,

We decided we would like to share the video from Maria's Benefit with all of you. Ted Gordon put the video together and did such a wonderful job. Thanks Ted.

We would also like to thank everyone who worked on and participated in the 5k and Fun Run. Linda Sheehan, you are such a beautiful person and your work on this is so very appreciated. The event had a turnout of 462 people! Thank you all so much for caring about our family.

Please remember to keep Maria in your prayers each and every day.

God Bless,
Ed and Megan

What a wonderful video! As I sat and watched this video, the amount of love and prayer that has gotten your family, and others to come together as one, tells me that GOD has chosen Maria to help him remind us, of our FAITH, and how we can sometimes forget how important it is! Thank you for sharing your story. ~God Bless!

Eddy -

The video is fantastic. Maria is a little doll. Wish I could be there in person for her. Thanks for sharing!

Dear Ed and Megan:
I have been reading all of your postings but have never written to you before. Mrs. DeWitt is the assistant principle at my daughter's school and we have been praying for you all. Our family definately understands your pain and journey as we have been going through a similar journey with our daughter Lindsey. In 2004 she was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor too and has went through chemo and many scans. We just ended in March of this year. Anyways, I wanted to let you know that I think you guys are wonderful ppl and I hope that you continue to receive lots of good news. There is nothing more calming to a parents heart than to hear some good news like a tumor a shrunk. I want to extend any help I can to you guys also. By far this is a very "bumpy" journey, one that should not happen alone. Please feel free to call me anytime. I think parents like us need to comfort and vent to each other because we truly understand each other's greif. I am touched by your honesty in this situation and the way you have expressed your feelings through all of it. It is not always easy to admit that we were not close to Christ, but now we see these blessings.
I dont mean to ramble, but I just want you to know that your daughter and family has touched me in a way I can not even put into words. My number is 330-926-1429. Please call us sometime and maybe we can be there for you. My contined prayers for all of you.

The part of the video showing your family walking through the halls of St. Judes holding hands brought tears to my eyes. You are all so beautiful. i will continue to pray for the miracle WE all believe will happen.

Your story is so powerful. I have tears in my eyes. The movie is absolutly beautiful, you are lucky to have so many good friends beside you, some that you don't even know. I pray so hard for Maria's recovery. I pray so hard that God will give Maria that miracle, and I do believe that God will give her that miracle.
God Bless you and I will keep praying.

Megan,

I happened across this website and Channel 3 story only today. I was very touched to read about your daughter and to read a few of your journal entries. The first thing that came to my mind was that it often seems so unfair that things like this happen to such good people. But the second thing I thought was what a strong and decent person I always thought you were. While this must be such a struggle for you and your husband, I believe that God gave your daughter a great gift in picking you as her parents.

I will keep your daughter, you and your family in my prayers.
