Update as of Tuesday November 21, 2006

At first glance you’d think Ed and I don’t really have much to be thankful for this year. But actually, knowing that our circumstances weren’t His will, you can then see just how much Ed and I have to be thankful for. This year at this very important time we thank God for blessing us with the most wonderful children, family and friends. In our time of greatest need Ed and I can clearly see how God has reached out to us, to shelter and protect us. It is humbling to us how much He shows us that He loves us.

Each one of our children is such a tremendous blessing and how incomplete our lives would be without a single one of them. This is Blake’s first Thanksgiving and how much joy we feel to have him here with all of us. Each one of our children was born and blesses our lives for a purpose.

We thank God for his presence each day knowing that no matter what our challenges may be, He assures us of eternal happiness one day. We thank Him for the comfort of knowing this.

We thank God through thanking each one of you for being in our lives this year. Your prayers and your support have been a constant reminder to us of God’s presence. Thank you for your love.

We please ask that as you gather together with loved ones to Thank God for all that He has given you this Thanksgiving that you please remember Maria in your prayers and our trip to St. Jude next week.

Ed and I and the children wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. You are all in our prayers in a special way on this very special day.

With the most heartfelt love,
Ed and Megan

a few days ago, i was speaking with a member of my church who knows your family personally. she said something that really got me thinking. i do not remember her exact wording, but she said that she knows that you sometimes wonder if people are still praying for maria. and that one of your biggest prioritys is making sure people are praying for her. please know that each and every day my family and i pray for your daughter. serveral times a day i find myself thinking of maria and praying for her. something that i have to be thankful for this thanksgiving is getting the chance to be a person who can pray for maria, and getting to know you family a litte bit through this website and to be influenced by your extreme faith through every obstacle. its so wonderful.

so know, that there is not a day that passes that i do not pray for maria. and i know that there are many people who can say the same. maria is in everyones prayers.

i will definitly be praying for your family this coming week. for the MRI and for your peace of mind and for great results.

God Bless You.

Megan, Ed and family

Out thoughts and prayers are with you always as you continue to travel this difficult journey. I think of Maria so much-every time I look at my children--I think of her. When I pick up Syd from school or Daisy meetings or dance--I think of her and pray that she is enjoying herself. There hasn't been a day that we havn't prayed for Maria. We will continue that prayer and thank God for all He has given you. We will pray that Maria's prayers are answered.
Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you enjoy the day with all the special people in your life. Family is everything. God Bless you all.

Our love and prayers,
The Pochatek Family

McNamara Family,

I just want to let you know that I think of Maria everyday. At the end of the day when my mom and I are leaving school, I am constsntly asking her, "How was Maria in lunch today?" Her response is, "Sweet as always." She is such a good girl. I had a lot of fun walking with her at OROC.

I hope your family has a great Thanksgiving(especially Blake). Tell Maria to eat a lot of mashed potatoes and turkey!

God Bless Maria and your family,
Caroline Pallotta

Dear Edward, Megan, and children,

Thank you, for taking the time to remind us of so many things we take for granted in our homes, family, and children.

May God continue to bless you in every way.

Sometimes at night when I pray with our girls, it is so late and I am so tired - they are so tired - but if there is one person other than our girls whom I pray for, it is Maria.

Happy Thanksgiving,
Love, Aunt Pam

Hello all of you. I was in the drugstore last week and they asked me to donate to St. Jude's hospital. I did and said it hold a special importance this year. They saved my cousin's oldest daughter. When I explained to the young teenager that the tumor is still there and all the hearing and sight came back; she said "at least it hasn't gotten bigger". Sometimes it's a stranger who reminds us of the simplicity of things and their importance. Infinite prayers for you and yours. God bless!

We are ALL thinking of you guys while you are down at St. Jude's. I hope that your Thanksgiving was memorable - I know ours was. I know you know the healing power and comfort that being with family provides, and I hope Maria ate plenty of mashed potatoes!

Just wanted to let you know Maria was in everybody's prayers during school announcements today (11/28) and in our hearts throughout the day as we prayed for everything to go well. Your family is so special to all of us at SRS and we are hoping for great news from St. Jude's. Love to Maria from Mrs. Holland
